Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Linux/Unix servers in both on-premises and cloud environments, including the creation of reusable system templates for consistent and efficient provisioning.
• Perform OS-level hardening of Linux/Unix systems based on the specific release version, applying security benchmarks and best practices to minimize vulnerabilities.
• Carry out post-deployment tasks such as user account creation, file system setup, and installation of required software packages in alignment with application team specifications.
• Manage core network services including DNS zone updates, DHCP scope modifications, and Proxy PAC file adjustments to ensure proper server integration and connectivity.
• Configure SMTP mail relay settings on Linux/Unix systems to support application-level email functionality and ensure secure and reliable message delivery.
• Document system configurations and operational procedures, creating detailed handover documentation from an OS perspective for support, audit, and compliance purposes.
• Install and validate mandatory TOLL software components on Linux/Unix servers, ensuring full compliance with enterprise standards and onboarding requirements.
• Integrate servers with TPAM (Total Privileged Access Management) solutions to enforce secure access controls and maintain audit trails for privileged account activities.
• Troubleshoot Linux/Unix server issues, including performance degradation, service failures, and configuration errors, providing root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application owners, network engineers, and cybersecurity personnel, to ensure Linux/Unix systems meet operational and security requirements.
