We're seeking a unique individual who bridges the gap between food and technology. This isn't your traditional recipe developer role - we need someone who sees the future of cooking through the lens of AI and automation.

Your Mission:

You'll develop recipes that both delight humans and teach robots. You will be at the intersection of food and AI, solving for the challenges posed by the variability of food.


What You'll Do:

Tech-Enabled Kitchen Operations

  • Test recipe variations and document results systematically
  • Collaborate with deep learning engineers to improve recipe consistency
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to research and scale recipe development
  • Document recipes in structured formats that engineers can work with
  • Experiment with AI tools for kitchen recipe research and creation, and analysis

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering team to problem solve
  • Analyze user feedback data to identify recipe gaps and make action plans for improvements
  • Create clear documentation that bridges culinary and technical teams

Recipe Engineering & Development

  • Design and optimize recipes specifically for robotic execution
  • Use our internal tools and AI assistants to create, test, and refine recipes
  • Translate traditional cooking techniques into precise, structured instructions
  • Build and maintain our recipe database with clear documentation


What Makes You Perfect for This Role:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering)
  • Genuine passion for food and cooking (home cooking experience counts)
  • Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable learning new software and using AI tools
  • Strong analytical thinking - you approach cooking systematically
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills
  • Curiosity about how technology can transform food

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with spreadsheets, data organization, or basic analytics
  • Food blogging, recipe writing, or content creation experience
  • Regular user of AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude
  • Experience in food tech, meal kit companies, or restaurant tech
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (but not required)
