Summary:

The Banquet Captain supervises and manages banquet event operations from planning through execution, coordinating staff, and ensuring excellent guest service during events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee banquet staff, coordinating assignments and monitoring performance during events.
  • Liaise with clients and event managers to understand requirements and ensure specifications are met.
  • Supervise setup and teardown of banquet halls and dining areas according to event orders.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to deliver food and beverage service smoothly.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any service issues on the spot.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout events.
  • Provide training and support to banquet staff.
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.

Employer Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or event management training is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in banquet or event supervision roles.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks during events.
  • Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
