Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Shift Supervisor with 2–3 years of relevant experience to oversee maintenance activities during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are properly maintained, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities during the assigned shift.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians and assign tasks based on priority and skill set.
  • Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment; respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure team compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize disruption and optimize performance.
  • Train and support maintenance staff in equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and management regarding shift handovers and ongoing issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, including 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time
