In your role as "IT Technology Services Senior Specialist", you are enabling the delivery of robust, downtime optimized, and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS.

You will take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes considering accelerated growth (RISE with SAP). Focus of your activities will be increasing automation in Business Continuity area covering also all multi-cloud aspects (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform) with focus on Hana, Sybase ASE, DB2 databases, High Availability solutions, Pacemaker/Cluster setup and integration scenarios along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort, cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized provisioning and maintenance activities for seamless customer experience, ideally hands-on experience for SAP system provisioning & operations on various databases with particular focus on HANA and DB2 with Pacemaker
• Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a pro-active way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities
• Covering multi-cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables
• Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities
• Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira
• Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network
• Support technology-related projects in complex environment
• Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Deliver

What you bring:

• 8+ Yrs experience in SAP BASIS skills, Database administration (HANA and DB2 preferred) and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment with Pacemaker knowledge

  
  
• Minimum 5 Yrs experience in Business Continuity, High Availability topics with Pacemaker.
• Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation
• Best practices experience in an SAP application / technology / solution (NetWeaver)
• Knowledge in the design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures
• Project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and experience working in international teams
• Good understanding of and SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
• Good understanding of Linux (SLES and RHEL) with Pacemaker in SAP environments
