Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ERP QA Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in testing ERP systems across multiple modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.). The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of ERP applications by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, validating business processes, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze ERP business processes, requirements, and workflows across modules.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, and end-to-end testing for ERP applications.
  • Validate ERP workflows, reports, interfaces, and configurations.
  • Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL for ERP-related databases.
  • Track, document, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and developers to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
  • Support and guide business users during UAT phases.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades, patch testing, and system enhancements.
  • Contribute to test automation strategy for ERP modules, if applicable.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2+ years in ERP testing.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Infor, Workday).
  • Strong understanding of ERP modules like Finance (FICO), Procurement, Inventory, HR, Sales & Distribution, etc.
  • Experience writing and executing manual test cases; exposure to automated testing is a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and integration testing.
  • Experience with integration testing between ERP and third-party systems.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
