Reliance Industries Limited is seeking a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Surat and Dahej locations. This role demands a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the field and requires hands-on expertise in maintaining electrical systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical installations, adhering to our company's ethos of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Predictive Maintenance (Mandatory skill) with the ability to foresee potential electrical failures and implement proactive measures effectively.
  • Electrical Engineering (Mandatory skill) knowledge to comprehend and apply electrical engineering principles in various applications.
  • Troubleshooting (Mandatory skill) experience for identifying electrical issues and implementing timely solutions to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis to systematically identify and resolve issues hindering electrical systems.
  • Understanding of Power Distribution systems to efficiently manage and optimize the electrical supply network.
  • Experience with Turnaround projects, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of significant maintenance activities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and present technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety and quality standards while minimizing risks.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain electrical systems to ensure they meet the company's safety and operational standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults in a timely manner to prevent disruption to operations.
  • Implement predictive maintenance practices to anticipate potential issues and ensure the longevity of electrical assets.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to execute maintenance plans efficiently and adhere to scheduled turnaround timelines.
  • Perform root cause analysis on electrical failures and propose corrective and preventive solutions to enhance system reliability.
  • Optimize power distribution networks for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime, contributing to sustainable operational practices.
  • Document maintenance activities and provide detailed reports for continuous improvement and compliance purposes.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
