Role & responsibilities

  • Java Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Source Code Management: Manage and collaborate on code using Git within Azure Repos, including implementing branching strategies and managing pull requests.
  • Agile Planning and Tracking: Utilize Azure Boards for agile project management, including sprint planning, backlog management, and tracking work items like user stories and bugs.
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy applications to cloud environments, leveraging Azure services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, or Azure Functions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests. Use Azure Test Plans to manage test cases and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Database Management: Interact with and manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and implement data storage solutions.
  • Security and Monitoring: Implement secure coding practices, ensure compliance, and configure monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
