Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Technical Consultant with strong experience in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Finance modules (AP, AR, GL). The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in PL/SQL development, interfaces, XML Publisher reports, Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), and Performance Tuning. The role requires working closely with functional and business teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions across Oracle E-Business Suite applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, and integrations using OAF and PL/SQL.
  • Develop and support Interfaces, Conversions, Reports, and Workflows (RICE components) within Oracle Applications.
  • Build and modify XML Publisher (BI Publisher) Reports for financial and business reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users and functional consultants to gather and analyze requirements and provide optimal technical solutions.
  • Work on Performance Tuning of SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and application components to ensure efficient system performance.
  • Provide technical support for Oracle Financial modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Design and implement solutions involving Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) to streamline accounting processes.
  • Develop extensions and customizations using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to meet specific business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in Oracle development standards, documentation, and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migration projects as part of ongoing Oracle EBS maintenance.

Required Technical Skills

  • Oracle PLSQL: Advanced level proficiency with strong coding, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Oracle Application Framework (OAF): Hands-on experience in OAF development, personalization, and extensions.
  • XML Publisher (BI Publisher): Expertise in report creation, templates, and data model design.
  • Financial Modules: Technical exposure to AP, AR, GL, and integration with FAH.
  • Interfaces & Conversions: Experience with inbound/outbound data interfaces and conversion programs.
  • Performance Tuning: SQL/PLSQL optimization, improving query performance, and efficient data retrieval techniques.
  • Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS): Deep understanding of R12 architecture, concurrent programs, and AOL concepts.

Good To Have Skills

  • Exposure to R12.2 upgrade projects and customization retrofitting.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Workflow, Forms Personalization, and Extensions.
  • Knowledge of functional setups in Financial modules.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Oracle Certification is a plus.
