Inviting applications for the role of Consultant -Databricks
We are on the lookout for an Analytics Engineer to join our team, tasked with integrating Putnam analytics solutions into FT systems. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing analytics solutions.

Databricks Data Engineer (Offshore)

•    Responsibilities:
o    Implement pipeline migrations and redesign workflows to align with Unity Catalog governance.
o    Refactor pipelines for compatibility with serverless compute.
o    Perform data ingestion using Auto Loader and optimize data partitioning and Z-ordering.
o    Collaborate with Test Engineers to ensure data pipeline validation and accuracy.

•    Skillsets:
o    Proficiency in Databricks (Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
o    Candidates should have a good knowledge of SQL with CTE, Joins, etc.
o    Candidates should be good hands on Python including pandas, data churning, list, tuples, dictionary.
o    Experience with SQL-based data transformations and Delta Sharing. 
o     Familiarity with cloud-native data ingestion tools (Auto Loader, JDBC)

Qualification we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications

o    Proficiency in Databricks (Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
o    Experience with SQL-based data transformations and Delta Sharing. 
o     Familiarity with cloud-native data ingestion tools (Auto Loader, JDBC)
