We are inviting applications for the role of a Sr Manager, Record to Report

If you are an accounting graduate with prior accounting experience and have manage a team size of ~15 people, we're looking forward for you to apply. In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly fast paced business environment while being a good phenomenal teammate and be open to working in any shift as per the business requirement

Responsibilities

In this role, you shall be responsible for all the activities related to record to report.

  • Manage end-to-end R2R processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, fixed assets, intercompany, and financial reporting
  • Oversee Finance/GL data integrity and ensure proper governance through reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across multiple client accounts/engagements
  • Act as the primary contact for R2R services, ensuring strong relationships and high satisfaction.
  • Partner with client partners/Controllers on process improvements, issue resolution, and business insights.
  • Prepare and present monthly governance decks, KPIs, SLAs, and financial dashboards to internal and client stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor large teams. Build capability through cross-training, domain upskilling, and succession planning
  • Drive a high-performance culture through KPIs, quality metrics, and productivity improvements
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Champion digital transformation initiatives in R2R and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness across all R2R processes. Drive a culture of zero defect and high compliance.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

  • MBA Finance (With B.Com in Graduation)
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / MBA Finance preferred
  • Prior and relevant experience in Finance & Accounting operations preferred, R2R leadership exp within a BPO/Shared Services environment preferred
  • Strong expertise in General Ledger, Consolidation, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Reporting.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and client relationships in a global setup
  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Workday/D365) and automation tools (BlackLine, RPA platforms).

Preferred qualifications

  • CA Inter degree & relevant work experience in General Ledger
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS excel
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
  • Excellent SME knowledge of accounting concepts

  • Leadership and people management skills in a large-scale BPO/SSC environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and transformation mindset.

Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements
