Job Title:

OpenShift Administrator – Maximo Application Suite (MAS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
OpenShift Administrator
to deploy, manage, and maintain
Red Hat OpenShift clusters
hosting the
IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS)
. The role will ensure stability, performance, and security of containerized enterprise applications on
Azure/AWS Cloud environments
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain
    Red Hat OpenShift platforms
    on Azure/AWS.
  • Perform cluster maintenance including patching, configuration changes, and operator management.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to pods, services, CRDs, storage classes, and networking.
  • Manage OpenShift clusters in
    ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS)
    and
    ARO (Azure Red Hat OpenShift)
    .
  • Develop and update
    Ansible playbooks
    for MAS installation and automation.
  • Set up monitoring using
    Instana, Grafana, Prometheus
    .
  • Collaborate with Maximo developers and functional teams for environment readiness.
  • Implement backup and restore policies for
    Cluster, Customer resources, MongoDB
    .
  • Implement
    CI/CD pipelines
    and manage container lifecycle.
  • Use
    Terraform (IaC)
    for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and participate in disaster recovery testing.
  • Work with security teams to harden and audit Maximo environments.
  • Manage
    certificate lifecycle
    and ensure compliance with
    ITIL practices
    .
  • Conduct infrastructure sizing and assessment for cluster setup.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in
    Linux and OpenShift administration
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    OpenShift cluster installation and configuration
    on Azure/AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of
    RHEL, Docker, Kubernetes
    .
  • Hands-on scripting skills (
    Bash, Python
    ).
  • Experience with
    MongoDB administration
    .
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with
    IBM Maximo Application Suite
    setup on Azure/AWS.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
