Role & responsibilities

  • Serve as a key individual contributor responsible for designing and developing industry-standard automation tools, build flows, and methodologies for the Architecture Validation team.
  • Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers, driving innovation and excellence in technical areas.
  • Maintain strong, consistent communication regarding project deliverables and risks, ensuring all engineering commitments are met successfully.
  • Promote and implement efficient development workflows and best practices to drive productivity improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience focused on automation tools, flow development, or design automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or owning methodology, automation, or build flow initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities to support team goals.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in developing and managing regression systems and build flows.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting (bash, tcsh).
  • Solid programming background, with expertise in at least one compiled language (e.g., C or C++) and one scripting language (e.g., Python or Perl).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Understanding of software or hardware verification environments, especially GNU toolchains.
  • Knowledge of QA best practices, including test planning, test case development, unit testing, and performance measurement.
