Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Python Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Extracting usable data from diverse sources through data mining techniques
  • Preprocessing structured and unstructured data for analysis
  • Cleansing and validating data to ensure integrity and usability
  • Analyzing large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python; experience with SQL, Hive, Pig, Spark is desirable. Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is a plus
  • Data Wrangling: Skilled in handling and correcting data imperfections
  • Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Domo, Tableau, Power BI
  • Cloud & Platforms: Exposure to Databricks or Snowflake; familiarity with cloud environments
  • Communication: Ability to clearly present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Tools & Technologies: Experience with data science tools and frameworks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a professional setting
