Role Summary

A Social Media Executive is responsible for managing an organizations online presence by developing strategies, creating content, analyzing engagement data, and coordinating with marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content for all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions and messages promptly.
  • Run paid advertising campaigns and track performance metrics.
  • Analyze insights and prepare reports on engagement, reach, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and PR teams for coordinated campaigns.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and platform algorithm changes.
  • Manage influencer collaborations and brand partnerships.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and creative writing skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation (basic Canva, Photoshop, or video editing skills).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) preferred.
