Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure storage solutions such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Store, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Develop complex data workflows using ADF's logical data modeling capabilities to integrate multiple data sources and destinations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for new projects and provide technical guidance on implementing scalable architectures for big-data processing using Azure Databricks.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to ADF pipeline failures by analyzing logs, debugging techniques, and collaborating with other teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards by implementing secure connections between systems through SSL/TLS encryption.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4-7 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Strong understanding of Python programming language including PySpark libraries for working with big-data technologies like Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Apache Spark Core & Hive.
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio for querying relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; BCA/B.Tech/B.E. preferred but not mandatory.
