Role & responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components across the plant including motors, drives, lighting, PLCs, MCCs, and switchgear.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in equipment such as kilns, crushers, conveyors, and mills.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce unplanned outages.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and update maintenance management systems.
  • Support plant operations by responding promptly to breakdowns and participating in shutdowns or planned outages.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to improve system reliability and safety.
