Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site role for a Textile Conservator located in Bengaluru. The Textile Conservator will be responsible for leading a project on the proper care and storage of the textile collection.

Qualifications

  • Experience in textile conservation, rehousing and storage
  • Expertise in examining and analyzing textile artifacts
  • Knowledge of proper care and storage of textile collections
  • Relevant academic qualifications in textile conservation or a related field
  • Practical experience in a museum or gallery setting is a plus
