Position Overview:

Applications are invited for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Senior Residents in Microbiology. The role involves academic teaching, diagnostic services, and contribution to infection control and research activities.

Key Responsibilities

Teach MBBS students general, systemic, and clinical microbiology through lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions.

Supervise and manage bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and immunology labs.

Oversee infection control policies, hospital-acquired infection monitoring, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

Mentor and guide students, residents, and interns in academics, diagnostics, and research.

Contribute to curriculum development, workshops, CMEs, and case discussions.

Participate in departmental research, publications, and academic conferences.

Ensure adherence to NMC norms, NABH guidelines, and institutional standards.

Eligibility

Qualification: MD/DNB in Microbiology from a recognized institution.

Experience: As per NMC norms for faculty; postgraduates eligible for Senior Resident.

Skills: Strong diagnostic knowledge, lab management, infection control expertise, teaching aptitude, and research orientation.
