Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trader with strong quantitative skills to collaborate with our Trading Tech Team in designing, building, and implementing arbitrage trading strategies for Multipli. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in crypto markets, a proven track record in arbitrage trading, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable, tech-enabled strategies. This role requires close partnership with engineers and developers to integrate trading systems, optimize performance, and drive profitability in a fast-paced, multi-asset crypto environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Design and develop arbitrage trading strategies across multiple crypto exchanges and assets, identifying opportunities for profit through price discrepancies.
  • Collaboration with Tech Team: Work hand-in-hand with the Trading Tech Team to build, test, and deploy automated trading systems, ensuring seamless integration of arbitrage strategies into Multipli's proprietary platforms.
  • Quantitative Analysis: Apply advanced quantitative techniques to analyze market data, model trading scenarios, and optimize strategy performance, leveraging tools like Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor crypto market trends, liquidity conditions, and volatility to refine strategies and adapt to changing dynamics.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust risk controls within trading strategies to minimize exposure and ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Execution & Optimization: Oversee the execution of arbitrage trades, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and enhance system efficiency with the tech team.
  • Research & Innovation: Conduct research on new arbitrage opportunities, emerging crypto assets, and market microstructures to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of trading experience, with at least 2 years focused on arbitrage strategies in cryptocurrency or high-frequency trading environments.
  • Proven track record of generating consistent profits through arbitrage or similar quantitative trading strategies.
  • Prior experience collaborating with technology teams to develop and deploy trading systems.
  • Quantitative Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis, including statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with crypto market data tools and quantitative platforms.
  • Crypto Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, including spot, futures, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of arbitrage mechanics across centralized and decentralized exchanges (e.g., triangular arbitrage, cross-exchange arbitrage).
  • Technical Collaboration:2
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with software engineers and developers to translate trading ideas into scalable, automated systems.
  • Experience with trading infrastructure, such as low-latency execution systems or cloud-based platforms, is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and collaborate across teams.
