About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Robotics Software Engineer with strong expertise in ROS2, Python, SLAM, and simulation tools (Gazebo / Isaac Sim). The ideal candidate will contribute to building and testing robotics algorithms in simulation environments, enabling real-world deployment of autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robotics applications using ROS2 and Python.
  • Implement and optimize SLAM algorithms for localization and mapping in dynamic environments.
  • Work with Gazebo and Isaac Sim to create and manage realistic robotic simulation environments.
  • Integrate sensors (LiDAR, depth cameras, IMU, GPS) into ROS2-based frameworks.
  • Debug, test, and validate robot navigation and perception systems in both simulation and hardware setups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI, controls, hardware) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for robotics code and maintain clear documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in robotics software development.
  • Proficiency in ROS2 (Foxy / Galactic / Humble) and Python.
  • Strong understanding of SLAM (ORB-SLAM, RTAB-Map, Cartographer, or similar).
  • Experience with simulation tools: Gazebo (Ignition) and/or NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
  • Knowledge of robotic kinematics, navigation stacks, and sensor fusion (EKF/UKF).
  • Experience with Git, Linux, and containerized development (Docker).

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with C++ (ROS2 nodes and performance optimization).
  • Exposure to reinforcement learning / deep learning for robotics.
  • Experience in cloud robotics / remote deployment.
  • Knowledge of GPU acceleration (CUDA, TensorRT) in Isaac Sim.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Good communication skills to work in a remote, cross-functional setup.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in exploring new robotics technologies.

Education

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics, or related fields.

Work Environment

  • Position: Full-time, Remote
  • Experience: 2–4 Years
  • Flexible working hours with overlap in core team time zones.
