Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer – Cloud to join our growing cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for an experienced security professional with deep knowledge of WAF, CDN, and Certificate Management , and hands-on expertise in implementing and managing security controls in cloud environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into our development lifecycle, monitor security incidents, and continuously improve our cloud security posture using modern tools and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules and configurations to protect cloud-based applications.
  • Administer and optimize Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) using platforms such as Akamai and Cloudflare .
  • Hands-on experience on tools like Akamai, AWS WAF and Cloudflare etc.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles , including procurement, renewal, and deployment across cloud and edge services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and application teams to embed security into infrastructure and development pipelines.
  • Proactively monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud security incidents and alerts.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation , and Azure ARM templates to automate security configurations and cloud resource management.
    Support continuous security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Qualifications:

Must Have Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud security engineering.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Strong hands-on experience with WAFs , CDNs , and certificate management .

Expertise with tools such as Akamai, AWS WAF, Cloudflare , and other edge security solutions.

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on security services.

Strong skills in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.

Relevant certification such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty or similar.

Good to Have Qualifications:

Experience with AWS security capabilities.

Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation and ARM templates.

Experience with AI coding and applying machine learning techniques to security.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This role will be based out of The Leela Office located on the 4th Floor, Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bangalore Our expectation at this time, is that you would work in * monthly rotational shift [1 pm to 10 pm IST (Hybrid), 4 pm to 1 am IST (WFH), 9 pm to 6 am IST (WFH)].

* 1pm to 10 pm IST will be HYBRID ( W ork from office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays with cab pick-up and drop available. Can work from home on Monday and Friday).

4 pm to 1 am IST - Work from home

9 pm to 6 am IST - Work from home
