Responsibilities For Tender Project:

• Capability to quickly understand the project and prepare queries in coordination with the manager/immediate supervisor.
• For details that are not available in tender, the candidate should be capable of providing the design anticipating the necessary requirements as per standard norms, codes, and best engineering practices.
• Candidate to update the manager/immediate supervisor in all the steps of the project mentioned below and appraise him/her on any support or clarifications required.
• Preparation of interdisciplinary service inputs with respect to PHE systems to Architecture, Civil, and MEP disciplines.
• Capability in extraction of details from the BIM Models if provided by the client.
• Preparation of project scope of works/project brief.
• Preparation of tender BOQ/estimate, indices, etc.
• Preparation of Value Engineering options.
• Preparation of schematic drawings in AutoCAD.
• Candidate should be able to coordinate with other disciplines and facilitate seamless input sharing.

Responsibilities For Operating Project:

• Identifying and aligning himself/herself based on the modality of operation for the design stage.
• Discussing with the manager/immediate supervisor on the key milestones with respect to design and execution at the project site to initiate the procurement BOQs, drawings, etc.
• Preparation of the DBR, Drawings, BOQ, Design calculations, schemes, and other technical documents as per project requirements and client needs.
• Preparation of interdisciplinary service inputs with respect to PHE systems to Architecture, Civil, and MEP disciplines.
• Obtaining approvals on the design submissions from client/other stakeholders.
• Participate in Coordination meetings and ensure the relevant data with respect to PHE systems are exchanged with the concerned disciplines.
• Support procurement team in technical evaluation of the PHE Systems vendors/sub-contractors in consultation with immediate supervisor/manager.
• First Level QA/QC Review of GFC Drawings and Coordination drawings and submitting the same for manager/immediate supervisor review and approval.
• Review and Approval of Shop Drawings.
• Supporting Site Execution team in installation, testing, commissioning (ITC), and handover.
• Responsible for design, validation, and finalization of PHE systems.
• Record and discuss with manager/immediate supervisor for deviations, changes from the tender stage to operating stage and prepare variation statements to support BU/site to claim variations.

The candidate should have knowledge and relevant experience in performing all the roles and responsibilities as mentioned above for the following systems:

• Estimation of water demand and storage requirements.
• Determine water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plants requirements in line with the water quality available/determined.
• Estimate and provide the number of sanitary fixtures and fittings based on the population for various types of buildings.
• Water supply, Sanitary & roof drainage design and drawings in internal buildings.
• External water supply system, sewerage, and storm water drainage systems.
• Solid waste management, solid waste treatment, and reuse systems.
• Rainwater management, harvesting, and reuse systems.
• Hot water generation.
