- Develop and optimize Looker/Tableau dashboards and data visualizations.

- Build and maintain Python-based automation and ETL processes in AWS (S3, Lambda, Redshift).

- Write and tune SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and performance.

- Collaborate across teams to ensure data accuracy, governance, and quality.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Support Engineer to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of our analytics infrastructure across web and data platforms.

You will implement and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) tracking, develop Looker/Tableau dashboards, and maintain ETL and automation pipelines using Python and AWS. Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) tracking across websites and mobile applications.

- Design, test, and deploy event tracking, custom dimensions, and e-commerce measurement tags.

- Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to ensure tracking accuracy and proper data flow to analytics platforms.

- Audit, troubleshoot, and validate GA4 implementations to maintain consistent data integrity.

- Design and build Looker and Tableau dashboards that provide actionable business insights.

- Translate raw data into intuitive visualizations and KPIs aligned with business goals.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define dashboard requirements, performance metrics, and data storytelling needs.

- Optimize dashboards for speed, scalability, and self-service analytics.

- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and automation scripts using Python within AWS environments (S3, Lambda, Redshift).

- Ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and validation from multiple sources.

- Monitor job performance, troubleshoot failures, and proactively optimize pipeline efficiency.

- Implement logging, error handling, and alerting mechanisms for production-grade data systems.

- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and aggregation from data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

- Use EXPLAIN plans and query tuning techniques to optimize performance and reduce latency.

- Support data analysts and business users by ensuring data accessibility and accuracy across systems.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, engineering, and business teams to uphold data governance and quality standards.

- Implement data validation frameworks and conduct audits to ensure consistent, clean data.

- Document workflows, data dictionaries, and tracking schemas for transparency and maintainability.

- Support internal users with technical troubleshooting, access requests, and analytics tool configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Expert in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)setup, debugging, and event schema design.

- Strong experience developing dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau (LookML, calculated fields, parameters).

- Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, and ETL scripting.

- Working knowledge of AWS servicesS3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, or similar data engineering components.

- Strong command of SQL (joins, CTEs, subqueries, optimization).

- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, schema design, and data warehouse architecture.

- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities across analytics and data systems.

- Ability to analyze data flows end-to-end, identify anomalies, and ensure data consistency.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and accountability for data quality and reliability.

- Experience with server-side tagging, BigQuery, or Cloud Functions.

- Familiarity with data modeling and dbt (data build tool).

- Exposure to APIs and data integration tools (Postman, Airflow, etc.).

- Certification in Google Analytics, AWS Data Analytics, or Tableau/Looker.

- Experience working in agile environments (Jira, Azure DevOps).
