About The Company

We are a homegrown, small-scale company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of artisanal fermented food and beverage products. Our mission is to deliver exceptional products and service to retailers, restaurants, and partners while fostering long-term business relationships. We are also part of Shark Tank Season 1.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts monthly.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and cost of goods sold, assisting in accurate financial tracking for manufacturing and distribution.
  • Salary processing and ensuring timely payment of employees and vendors.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Co-ordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, production, logistics) to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Ideally 2+ years of accounting experience, preferred if with manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Tally.
  • Strong understanding of GENERALLY ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES and relevant tax regulations.
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and translate findings into recommendations.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism; ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience in inventory and cost accounting is an asset.

Work Schedule -

  • Mon- Saturday - 9am to 6pm
  • Sundays + 10 fixed holidays + 18 earned leave per year
