JD - Embedded systems engineer

Requirements and Qualifications:


Experience: 3 - 6 years (Relevant industries: Automotive, Electric Vehicles, or Industrial Embedded Systems)

Excellent skill in embedded C development.

Strong debugging skills with lab equipment.

Working experience with micro-controller programming.

Working experience with version control tool (git, SVN etc)

Familiarity with communication protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet etc.


Good to have:


Working experience with RTOS

Automotive/EV experience preferred

Communication protocols: UDS (ISO 14229), CANopen

Domain knowledge: EV powertrains, functional safety (ASIL),


Role and responsibilities:


ECU software development, design, testing, debugging and documentation in all phases of Product development.

Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems.

Deliver high-quality C code for a real time embedded environment.

Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging and code optimization

Writing unit and component level tests to ensure proper functionality

Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements


Salary budget: As per company standards and skillset.

Working location: Chennai

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70, ₹100,000.00 per month
