Heavy Driver

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or tippers for material transport within and outside the plant premises.
• Ensure safe and timely loading and unloading of materials, machinery, or finished goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection to check oil, water, fuel, brakes, and other essential systems before starting duty.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow all traffic rules, plant safety norms, and company policies while driving.
• Report any vehicle malfunction, accident, or maintenance requirement immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle logbook entries.
• Assist in minor vehicle maintenance and coordinate with the workshop for servicing.
• Ensure proper documentation such as driving license, vehicle papers, and gate passes are up to date.
• Support plant operations by transporting raw materials, waste, or other items as required.

Qualification:

• Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a plant or industrial environment.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with routes and traffic regulations.
• Responsible and disciplined work attitude.
