The Role:

 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing automated end-to-end tests for complex systems. The candidate should also bring novel ideas and approaches, including the use of generative AI for generating tests. Additionally, the candidate should have the potential to lead the testing effort across the engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests and frameworks for our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Explore and integrate generative AI techniques to enhance test generation and coverage.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Lead the testing effort across the engineering organization, ensuring alignment and consistency in testing practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing.
• Work with developers to resolve software issues and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including Cypress.
• Familiarity with generative AI techniques and their application in software testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Supply-Side Platforms (SSP) and the AdTech industry.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools.
• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
