Job Summary
We are looking for Process Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational processes for the production of ACPs. This role involves coordinating between various departments, implementing process improvements, and ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monitoring and management: Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure a smooth and timely workflow. This includes monitoring critical steps of ACP production, such as the pre-treatment, coating, bonding, and cutting of panels.
- Cross-departmental coordination: Act as a central point of communication between the factory floor, quality control, sales, design, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and streamline operations.
- Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies, delays, or repetitive issues in the production process. Collaborate with engineering and management to develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Quality and compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes and finished products comply with established quality standards (e.g., ISO) and company policies. Conduct regular process audits to identify and address deviations.
- Reporting and documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on process performance, including key operational metrics, pending tasks, and quality issues. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inventory and material coordination: Coordinate deliveries of raw materials, such as aluminium coils and core materials, from external vendors. Ensure that materials and parts are used efficiently in the production process.
- Team support and training: Provide guidance and training to manufacturing personnel on new or updated processes and procedures. Ensure team members understand and adhere to all process guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (1–3 years) in a process coordination, quality control, or operations support role, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Knowledge of the ACP manufacturing process is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) and process management or ERP software. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination across different departments and with suppliers.
- Problem-solving: A strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail to identify problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships with team members at all levels.
- Adaptability: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
