Position: Site Engineer
Department: Construction / Project Execution
Location: Project Site
Reporting To: Project Manager / Site Manager
Role Purpose
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the quality and timely execution of construction activities at the site. The role involves managing resources, ensuring safety compliance, liaising with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor progress against schedule and report to the Project/Site Manager.
Ensure proper implementation of safety, health, and environmental regulations on site.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Review technical drawings, identify discrepancies, and resolve site issues.
Maintain records of site activities including manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Ensure effective communication between the project management team and site execution team.
Provide technical guidance to workers and junior engineers.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical
2–5 years of experience in site supervision or project execution (entry-level roles may consider fresh graduates).
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of project management software is a plus.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
