Yoga Instructor

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Remote Yoga Instructor to deliver engaging online yoga classes. The ideal candidate will lead virtual sessions via video conferencing platforms, inspire students of all levels, and maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere. This role is perfect for a certified yoga professional who excels in a digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live virtual yoga classes (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, or specialized sessions like meditation or chair yoga) for diverse groups via platforms like Zoom or Google Meet.
• Design safe and effective yoga sequences tailored to online participants, accommodating varying skill levels and needs.
• Provide clear verbal instructions and visual demonstrations to ensure proper alignment and technique.
• Engage students through interactive elements, such as Q&A sessions or post-class discussions, to build community.
• Record and share pre-recorded yoga sessions for on-demand access, if required.
• Promote our online programs, workshops, and events to grow the virtual community.
• Monitor student feedback and adapt classes to enhance the virtual experience.
• Maintain a professional home setup for teaching, including good lighting, audio, and a distraction-free environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certified Yoga Instructor (e.g., 200-hour or 500-hour Yoga Alliance certification or equivalent from a recognized institution).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching yoga, with at least 6 months of experience in virtual/online settings.
• Strong knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, and meditation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver clear instructions and foster engagement in a virtual environment.
• Comfortable using video conferencing tools and basic technology for streaming high-quality classes.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home setup (camera, microphone, and quiet space).
• Ability to connect with diverse audiences and create an inclusive online community.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, to accommodate different time zones.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi for effective communication.
• Basic video editing skills for pre-recorded content are a plus.
