The Global Data and AI is an established unit in Digital, Data & IT with a direct link into the Digital, Data, and IT Committee, acting as the counterpart for Line of Business. The focus of the Data Office is to detail and execute Novo Nordisk's Global Data Strategy to unlock the full potential of data across the enterprise. Therefore, the Data Office is responsible for developing the Data Foundation capabilities and enable acceleration of business value delivery of various strategic initiatives through their adoption together with implementing data governance for key data domains across the organizations data landscape.

The position will be responsible as a Lead Data Architect who will contribute to the overall success of the GDO (Global Data Office) department and more broadly, the Data Product Teams by being a trusted business and technology advisor, that can support both the data products, solutions and stakeholders with deep functional & technical expertise and guidance across all components that makes up the Data Product or the required deliverables. As a Lead Data Architect, you will take technical ownership of Data Marketplace or for the epic outcome with relevant subject matter expertise. You will act as a SME for a given Data Domain across EVP area level and drive a learning-focused and innovative mind-set in the team. Your key responsibilities include:

• Define, design, and drive the business architecture and technical decisions, together with the team to ensure a sustainable and maintainable product. Provide direction and technical guidance for the continuous development of features and functionalities of selected Data Products.
• Build conceptual data model, business analysis, data analysis, solution design, analysis of the impacted systems and propose and build the future data architecture landscape. You will support Product Owners to identify features within the given scope and aligned priority.
• Engage with colleagues, stakeholders, suppliers, and partners as a trusted Tech Lead, providing support in their decision-making process and driving the adoption of best-fit solutions.
• Develop creative and innovative data products that effectively address defined business challenges and pain points. Explore new technologies and tools, and incorporate them into the current tech stack, when necessary, to stay ahead of the curve.
• Contribute to the establishment of a strong capability within Data Domains, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration across use case teams to drive continuous improvement.

• Graduate or Post graduate or B.Tech or Msc/M.Tech in Data related specializations, Computer Science or another relevant field.
• 12 years of experience as an enterprise, solution, or information architect with focus on data solutions.
• Ideally an experience in Pharma, Finance or Retail industry driving enterprise-wide projects, operating, and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
• Experienced in working with Agile/SCRUM methodology.
• Must display in depth understanding and experience in utilizing Azure Data Factory, Purview, Informatica, Snowflake, AWS, Erwin etc. with architecture, implementation, DevOps and support.
• Must demonstrate work experience with assessing and implementing enterprise-wide data management tools and data models and in Enterprise Information Modelling.
• Independence, self-aware, analytical approach, efficient communication, enthusiasm, innovation, proactive, take ownership, deadline-orientation, team player, ability to seek compromises, open-minded and change ready.
• Proactive regarding establishing a strong capability within Software Engineering and ensure knowledge sharing and sparring across the use case teams.
• Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all, you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
