Job Title: Chemical Engineer – Metal / Manufacturing Industry

Location: Sinnar, Nashik

Department: Production / Process Engineering

Reports To: Plant Manager / Operations Head

Job Purpose:

To design, develop, and optimize chemical processes in metal or manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality while minimizing costs and environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize chemical processes involved in metal treatment, finishing, and manufacturing.
• Monitor and analyse production processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
• Design and conduct experiments for process improvements, new materials, or innovative manufacturing methods.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D) to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support scale-up of processes from laboratory to pilot and full-scale production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage raw material consumption, chemical inventory, and cost control.
• Stay updated on latest technologies and innovations in metallurgy, chemical processing, and manufacturing.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of chemical process design, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering,
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards
• Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
