The Role

Your role will be to work with our CTO, product team, app developers, and QA testers to:

  • Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth, quick to load, and responsive webpages that look beautiful across all screen sizes and browsers.
  • Write clean, secure, PHP code within the Laravel framework, using MVC architecture.
  • Diagnose and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and scaling issues.
  • Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.
  • Ensure quality, modularity, and cleanliness of code.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a skilled PHP full stack developer to continuously improve our quit smoking mobile application and implement new features. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing fast, efficient systems, clean modular code and high-quality user-experiences. You will have had at least 2 years of frontend web development and 2 years of PHP laravel development experience and have:

  • Expertise in responsive web development and the entire frontend stack of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • At least 2 years of PHP Laravel experience on LAMP stack.
  • Proficiency with AI assisted development using Claude code or Gemini (Must have).
  • The ability to write well-documented, clean, modular code.
  • Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
  • Familiarity with MySql database handling and management.
  • Experience with GitHub and version control.
