Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities.
  • Write, edit, and publish SEO-friendly blog posts, website content, product descriptions, and social media copy.
  • Assist in on-page optimization (meta tags, headings, internal linking, URL structure).
  • Collaborate with SEO team to improve site ranking and visibility.
  • Research competitors and trending topics for content strategy.
  • Track SEO and content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ubersuggest.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO and content marketing trends.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Good writing and editing skills in English (grammar & clarity).
  • Basic understanding of SEO concepts (keywords, on-page optimization, backlinks).
  • Familiarity with WordPress, CMS platforms, or blogging tools (preferred).
  • Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, or keyword planners (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
  • Prior experience in writing (blogs, social media, academic, or freelance) will be an added advantage.
