Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic GST Associate to join our Indirect Tax team. The role involves GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, documentation, and client coordination. Ideal for candidates from commerce and finance backgrounds who want to build a career in Indirect Tax/GST.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
• Perform GST reconciliations including books vs. portal, GSTR-2B vs. purchase register, GSTR-1 vs. 3B, etc.
• Support in GST registration, amendments, and compliance activities.
• Review of input tax credit (ITC) and ensure compliance with GST laws.
• Assist in preparation of refund applications and related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients for data collection, clarifications, and query resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation, working papers, and audit support files.
• Stay updated with latest changes in GST laws, notifications, and circulars.
• Provide support during GST audits, departmental notices, and replies.

Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of GST concepts and accounting fundamentals (training can be provided).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ability to work on GST software/portals.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask.
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and teamwork.
