Role Overview

As a Software Engineer you will design, develop, maintain and enhance Intranet Portal. This role involves both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems and create an efficient and reliable company intranet portal. You will use your expertise in requirements analysis, programming languages, software development methodologies, and tools to build and deliver the solution that meet the needs of the business including organizations, and end-users. You will work with other engineers, product managers and delivery leads, to design systems, determine functional and non-functional needs and implement solutions accordingly. You should be ready to work independently as well as in a team.

What will you do in this role

• Manage the day-to-day upkeep of Corporate Intranet solution 

• Provide technology skills and know-how within Solution Design and development, upskilling other groups and organizations 

• Demonstrate the ability to listen to customer needs and translate   

• requirements into IT solutions. 

• Follow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes through implementation, including preparing all mandatory documentation. 

• Contribute to platform roadmaps and future state capabilities. 

• Support solution governance across M365 infrastructure. 

• Ability to work with global virtual teams of IT professional and deal with multiple cross-functional teams 

What should you have

• 3-5 years working with technologies that leverage collaboration technology focused on SharePoint and MS365 capabilities. 

• Strong experience in developing enterprise solutions for SharePoint Online 

• Strong experience with SPFx (SharePoint Framework) 

• Strong experience in front-end development (JavaScript, TypeScript, Frameworks: AngularJS, ReactJS) 

• Experience in back-end development (ASP.NET: feature receiver, timer jobs, web services) 

• Strong development experience and knowledge of Azure services (Azure SQL, Azure Function App, Azure Hybrid Connections, Microsoft Entra ID) 

• Experience with developing and maintaining Power Automate Flows 

• Experience with code management and deployment pipelines (Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira) 

• Experience with Power BI  

• Integration skills - Microsoft 365 cloud integration experience - OAuth implementation, GRAPH API,  REST API, data sources, cloud services (Azure) 

• Programming, scripting, or algorithm experience – PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, React, and/or NodeJS 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into solutions that address needs and show benefits to the company as a whole.  

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint 

• Ability to navigate in the IT ecosystem and collaborate with global technology and business groups 

• Ability to envision and think out of the box to provide innovative solutions within the framework of enterprise platforms
