We're looking for Cyber Security Engineer to have the following Technical & Functional knowledge:

Technical Skills:

• expertise in mainframe operating systems (z/OS)
• thorough knowledge of mainframe security features like RACF (Resource Access Control Facility)
• understanding of mainframe security protocols and best practices
• familiarity with mainframe security tools and utilities

• basic understanding of programming languages like CARLa, COBOL, PL/I used on mainframes

• cybersecurity Knowledge:

• comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity concepts like threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident response
• awareness of common cyber threats targeting mainframe environments

• ability to identify and mitigate security risks specific to mainframe systems

• compliance Understanding:

• familiarity with relevant compliance standards like PCI , SOX
• ability to implement security controls to meet compliance requirements

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the Mainframe & Midrange Stream team in India focusing on Mainframe and Midrange Cyber Security with focus on Internal & External Threat elements . You will also work with the wider UBS CISO/DISO elements in aligning some of our Security Controls as per organization directive / policy and work with the Risk & Audit team.

Your expertise

• bachelor or Master degree or equivalent focusing on Cyber Security with the functional knowledge of the Platforms
• Overall 10+ experience in IT Industry with comprehensive understanding and ability to apply Cyber Security knowledge in the Threat Monitoring & prevention
• curious to learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate

options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• fluent in English

• certification in the Cyber Security domain

• soft Skills:

• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• attention to detail and ability to work independently
