Position: Production EngineerLocation - Mahindra City - JaipurQualification & experienceDiploma or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 4-6 years experience of which at least 3 years should be in a similar role in a reputed company.Description of the role:The production engineer is expected to manage allotted resources of Man, Machine and Material effectively to deliver the customer requirement consistently week after week with zero defects. The person is also expected to control costs and continuously improve operational excellence parameters such as Throughput Time, productivity (Operator utilisation), Inventory and ensure workplace safety for the employees and TEI in the department.Job descriptionAligning resources to meet the customer requirement.Measure, review with team and monitor performance parameters on daily basis and work on gaps proactively to recover.Punching production input in SAP.Training, qualifying, and deploying the right person at right place MultiskillingEnsuring quality in all processes, Drive for RCA and deployment of preventive actions in placeMaintain employee discipline / 5S in the plant.Maintaining healthy IR in the shop floor through resolving operator voices.Ensuring continuous improvement in the shop floor through 100% TEI and high level of motivation to the team.Key Metrics:Safety zero incidents. Number of proactive improvements on safety. Identifying and addressing unsafe actions and conditions.OTIF > 95% Weekly On time delivery in full to all customers on weekly basisEmployee Productivity - >95%WIP inventory as per agreed targetsNumber of improvements and participationRejection PPM drive for zero defectKey CompetencyWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes like Steel machining, assembly, welding, plating, and paintingProduction planning & man management Handling the various situation in the shop floor.Team building ability & Coordination towards resultsEmotional stability and good social skillsResult oriented with a bias towards actionGood communication abilities both oral and written.
