Position Name : QA EngineerExperience Required : 3 Years Location : Remote, Mumbai, KolkataSkills : Server migration testing in Windows Server environments , Application testing, performance, and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Experience with server migration testing in Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Familiarity with IIS configurations, web server testing, and troubleshooting for performance and security issues.
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with testing server environments for connectivity and security.
  • Strong understanding of application testing principles, including testing applications post-migration for functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience identifying issues in server configurations, migrations, and applications.
  • Familiarity with automation tools for test case execution and reporting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross
  • functional teams, including developers, server engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality test results.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Conduct QA testing for server migration activities, ensuring successful migration of Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) with minimal downtime and no service disruptions.
  • Test IIS configurations and web applications post-migration, ensuring proper performance, security, and functionality after server migrations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to create and execute test plans for server migrations, ensuring all migration steps are thoroughly validated before, during, and after the process.

  • and post-migration testing to validate server functionality, including connectivity, performance.
  • Validate backup and recovery processes as part of the migration testing, ensuring backups are correctly restored and data integrity is maintained.
  • Test disaster recovery plans as part of migration testing, ensuring business continuity processes are functional and reliable.
  • Identify bugs, performance issues, and configuration inconsistencies during migration, working with developers and engineers to resolve them.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (server engineers, developers, project managers, application teams) to ensure all migration tasks meet quality standards.
