JOB SUMMARY: 

As a Staff Product Manager, this role involves owning and building out the performance ads product at JioHotstar. This will involve multiple facets including building deeper user understanding for better targeting, identifying the right opportunities to serve ads, identifying which outcomes to optimize for and build the levers towards optimizing and achieving those outcomes. This role will be critical in driving step function growth in our performance ads journey, and an opportunity to redefine advertising in OTT apps. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to build a multi million dollar business from the ground up.

REPORTING TO: Senior Group Product Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build the Product strategy for the Performance ads product and translate that into a roadmap and define success metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders to develop a best-in-class solution
  • Translate complex problems into compelling features and functionalities that drive advertiser objectives and business results
  • Prioritize feature delivery through roadmaps, balancing commercial feasibility, customer impact, and technical complexity
  • Mentor junior PMs on the team
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
  • Experience building products in adtech, martech, data, or e-commerce domains
  • Experience working with ad systems in either product or technical roles
  • Ability to formulate a compelling product vision and multi-year strategy that garners cross-functional support
  • Expertise in breaking down strategy into meticulously prioritized quarterly roadmaps with strong execution capabilities
  • Strong ability to ask relevant questions and leverage data for informed decision-making
  • Skilled in identifying necessary structures, components, and technologies for effective collaboration and value creation
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to influence design and architecture decisions for optimal outcomes
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent preferred. Minimum 7+ years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in product management.
