Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coordinate the housekeeping staff and ensure all cleanliness standards are met across the property. This role involves training staff, inspecting rooms and public areas, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and workstations for cleanliness and compliance with standards.
• Train new employees in cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment use.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and assist in performance reviews.
• Ensure proper documentation of cleaning routines and shift reports.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, front office) to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist with hands-on cleaning tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in hospitality management is a plus.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in using housekeeping management software (if applicable).

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced environment requiring physical mobility.
• May involve standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Qualification : DHM / ANY Degree

Experience : Min 3 years
