Job Title: System Administrator

Location: Chennai

Experience: 1 - 4 years

Salary: 2 to 5 LPA

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems, ensuring smooth operations across desktops, servers, and networks. You will also support IT security, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams to keep systems reliable and secure.

This position reports to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Linux, and Mac systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain and repair IT assets such as laptops, desktops, printers, and networking devices.
  • Implement and manage IT security measures including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Support IT asset management, inventory tracking, and system documentation.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide timely technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for upgrades and issue resolution.
  • Maintain proper documentation of systems, configurations, and SOPs.

Required Skills

  • Good communication skills (verbal & written English).
  • Strong analytical skills and logical problem-solving ability.
  • Time management, efficiency, and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and week-offs.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration.
  • Basic networking knowledge, ticketing tools, and support systems.
  • Experience in system setup, maintenance, and IT security.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
