Our 30,000 sqft facility houses advanced CNC, laser cutting, bending, fabrication, and assembly capabilities — where engineering meets execution. We design and build everything from automated industrial systems to innovative mechanical products.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical design, electrical systems, and PLC-based automation. The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between design and production — guiding teams across fabrication, assembly, and control integration to bring complete machines to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems combining mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
- Create and review SolidWorks designs, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Design and assemble control panels, integrate PLCs, sensors, and actuators, and program control logic.
- Collaborate with CNC operators, fabricators, and assembly teams to ensure precision and build quality.
- Test, debug, and commission machines with complete mechanical and electrical integration.
- Prepare and maintain wiring diagrams, pneumatic schematics, and technical documentation.
- Lead the assembly and commissioning team for new machine installations.
- Ensure all automation systems comply with safety and operational standards.
Requirements:
- B.E./Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, machinery, or custom equipment manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of:
- SolidWorks / CAD design
- Pneumatic systems
- Electrical motors, sensors, and actuators
- PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.)
- Panel wiring and integration
- Practical understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes
- Strong leadership and project execution skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with robotics, motion control, or servo systems
- Familiarity with HMI development and VFD configuration
- On-site installation and troubleshooting experience
Why Join Us:
Work at the intersection of mechanical innovation and automation intelligence. At Pneutomatic Engineering, you'll be part of projects that push boundaries — from industrial robotics to futuristic machinery built from the ground up.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹350, ₹450,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Cell phone reimbursement
Application Question(s):
- Explain the difference between a synchronous and BLDC motor. Where would you prefer each?
- What's your approach to selecting a motor and gearbox for a machine mechanism?
- How do you decide the bore and stroke of a pneumatic cylinder for a given task?
- How do you wire a sensor or limit switch to a PLC input?
- If a machine doesn't perform as per design, how do you identify whether the issue is mechanical, electrical, or programming related?
