About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Selenium and Appium to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of automation frameworks, mobile/web testing, defect tracking, and continuous integration processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Web) and Appium (Mobile).
  • Create and maintain automation frameworks for Web, Android, and iOS applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
  • Improve automation processes and adopt industry best practices.
  • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the automated test suites.
  • Must-Have Skills
  • Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver for web test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation (Android/iOS).
  • Strong understanding of TestNG / JUnit / NUnit frameworks.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java preferred; Python/JavaScript acceptable).
  • Experience in POM (Page Object Model), Hybrid, or BDD (Cucumber) frameworks.
  • Good understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) – added advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Git version control.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts.
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

  • Knowledge of cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).

  • Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
