As a Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery of IT and software development projects. You will be responsible for project scoping, planning, execution, and delivery, while ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including the CEO, Technology Head, technical leads, developers, QA, UI/UX teams, and external vendors.

You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication, timely delivery, and exceptional quality. You will also contribute to product strategy by analyzing competitors and proposing continuous product improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocations, and schedules.
  • Conduct requirement analysis in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track project progress using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Asana.
  • Utilize version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) to track development milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues through structured risk management techniques.
  • Facilitate communication across departments, resolving blockers for development teams.
  • Coordinate with vendors/third-party providers for outsourced or integrated projects.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, code reviews, and deployment processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation including BRDs, SOWs, timelines, reports, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-project evaluations and recommending enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7- 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in IT/software development projects.
  • Proven experience in managing web, mobile app, and cloud-based software projects.
  • Solid technical background with understanding of :
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Frontend technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, React,
  • Backend technologies : Java, .NET, , Python, PHP
  • Databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle
  • DevOps tools : Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, GCP (preferred AWS Certified or similar)
  • Testing & QA tools : Selenium, JUnit, Postman, JMeter
  • API integration & management : REST, SOAP, Swagger, Postman
  • Experience in client interfacing, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
  • Expertise in using project management tools : JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, ClickUp.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams and drive them toward successful delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Experience in conducting competitive product analysis and developing go-to-market strategies.
