Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple pharmacy retail outlets.
  • Ensure compliance with Drug & Cosmetic Act, NABH/JCI standards, and internal policies.
  • Manage pharmacy staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for timely stock replenishment and billing accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels, expiries, pilferage, and returns to maintain cost control and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational SOPs and quality standards.
  • Review sales reports and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Ensure patient and customer satisfaction through streamlined service and product availability.
  • Coordinate audits (internal/external) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master's in Pharmacy (M.Pharm); MBA in Operations or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy retail operations, preferably in a hospital or healthcare chain.
  • Strong knowledge of drug regulations, inventory systems, and retail pharmacy workflow.
  • Proficient in pharmacy management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
