Pharmacy Retail Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of multiple pharmacy retail outlets.
- Ensure compliance with Drug & Cosmetic Act, NABH/JCI standards, and internal policies.
- Manage pharmacy staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for timely stock replenishment and billing accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels, expiries, pilferage, and returns to maintain cost control and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational SOPs and quality standards.
- Review sales reports and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Ensure patient and customer satisfaction through streamlined service and product availability.
- Coordinate audits (internal/external) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master's in Pharmacy (M.Pharm); MBA in Operations or Healthcare Management preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy retail operations, preferably in a hospital or healthcare chain.
- Strong knowledge of drug regulations, inventory systems, and retail pharmacy workflow.
- Proficient in pharmacy management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
