Key Responsibilities

• Act as an integral member of the engineering leadership team, driving technical and strategic objectives.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate team members through structured performance reviews and ongoing professional development.
• Manage manpower planning, staffing, and scheduling to align resources with production and project requirements.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards, policies, and best practices across projects.
• Develop, document, and maintain engineering standards and processes to support organizational scalability.
• Deliver world-class engineering support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring responsiveness and quality.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including leadership, design, and production, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support business development efforts by engaging with clients, design consultants, and specifiers to promote the organization's value proposition.
• Champion and uphold all safety policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CE) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the design and engineering of steel structures
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Hands-on experience in the design of steel monopole structures for transmission and distribution systems
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage complex project requirements
• Strong background in implementing process improvements and engineering standardization
