We are seeking a seasoned SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI Consultant who is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between various SAP and non-SAP systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement integration projects, troubleshoot issues, and enhance data exchange processes.Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
  • Configure and customize SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Process Chains (PO) for various integration scenarios.
  • Develop custom adapters, interfaces, and mappings as needed.
  • Design robust and efficient SAP integration solutions using SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and business processes.
  • Participate in project planning, design, and execution activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for CPI and PO components, including SFTP, IDOC, and SuccessFactors integrations.
  • Monitor integration processes and proactively address issues or errors.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize integration performance and reduce latency.
  • Implement enhancements to improve data exchange efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration design specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement security measures, such as encryption and user access controls.
  • Plan and conduct integration testing to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams on integration solutions.
  • Assist with resolving user-reported issues and inquiries.
  • Stay informed about SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI updates and new features.
  • Perform system upgrades and apply patches as needed.
  • Creating detailed and accurate Swagger documents to document API endpoints and data models.

Must-Have Skills
  • Should have 3-6 years of integration-based development and configurations.
  • Should have hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and API Management.
  • Should have proven experience with complex projects involving SCP/BTP and S/4 skills.
  • Should have strong experience in CPI development, including iFlow development with ABAP, FILE, API, IDoc, SOAP, and other adapters.
  • Should have proficiency in Groovy Script, XSLT, Value Mapping, and Message Mapping.
  • Should have expertise in performance optimization, error handling, and reprocessing using Data Stores in CPI.
  • Should have knowledge of SAP PI/PO for on-prem to on-prem integration scenarios.
  • Should have experience with SFTP, IDoc, and SuccessFactors integrations.
  • Should have good exposure to Integration Design Patterns for connecting various systems (on-prem and cloud).
  • Should have familiarity with API Hub and CPI standard content reusability.
  • Should have understanding of Message Implementation Guidelines and Integration Advisor.
  • Should have a good understanding of authentication and authorizations related to CPI.
  • Should have knowledge in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms.
  • Should have experience with BizTalk and other integration tools is a plus.
  • Should have strong knowledge of SAP systems, modules, and architecture.
  • Should have demonstrated development skills in Java, Groovy, or other relevant programming languages used in SAP CPI.
  • Should have familiarity with various CPI palette options (integration patterns, message transformations, enrichers, splitters, etc.).
  • Should have experience in utilizing the Apigee API management platform to design and develop APIs.
  • Should have defining Open API specifications for APIs and services.
  • Should have experience in handling different data conversions (e.g., JSON to XML, CSV to XML).
  • Should have creating and configuring data mappings, transformations, and routing rules in CPI.
  • Should have implemented error handling mechanisms to ensure reliable message processing in CPI.
  • Should have integration of multiple SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Should have a strong understanding of SAP integration methodologies and best practices.
  • Should have proven experience in SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI configuration and development.
