SMEC Automation, a leading name in marine and industrial automation solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in Power and Generator systems. The role involves working on advanced electrical systems and automation processes within the marine and industrial domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Low Voltage (LV) systems, Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB), generators, and excitation systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot AC and DC motors, power management systems, and generator synchronization systems.
  • Work on switchboards, control panels, and associated electrical power circuits.
  • Support and maintain automation and control systems related to marine and industrial equipment.
  • Conduct regular testing, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis of electrical components.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and service teams for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and marine classification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-3 Years Experience Preferred
  • Strong understanding of power generation, distribution, and automation systems.
  • Experience with marine services, shipboard electrical systems, or offshore power systems is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control logic, and electrical schematics is desirable.
  • Analytical mindset with hands-on problem-solving abilities.
